End of Year Newsletter:
2008 in Review
This year my theme was THINK BIG. As the year
draws to a close, I am reaching the mid point on a 12 foot by 192 foot
mural. It features all of the historic buildings of an Prince Edward Island
community. It is being painted using acrylic paint on 4 foot by 8 foot
primed MDO board. They are finished off with four coats of varnish. The
mural will be set for unveiling early this summer. I am hopeful that it
will entertain as well as capture a piece of history.
This photo is a collage of four boards. The
finished mural will be three panels high.
However, I am constantly thinking ahead and
have numerous projects in my head that I am equally eager to put on paper,
and canvas, and MDO board and...
I look forward to keeping in touch as my projects
( big and small ) develop. I plan many more peice of equine art and pet
portraits. Best wishes to all of you for
the New Year. May you reach all of your goals and find enjoyment in the
journey.
